B.VOC (Hospitality and Tourism Management)
B.Voc. (Hospitality & Tourism Management) or Bachelor of Vocation in Hospitality & Tourism Management is an undergraduate Travel and Tourism course. Tourism includes a study of tourism management, tourism development, tourism marketing, transportation industry, hotel management, etc. It covers the study of topics such as tourist resort planning, food service management, ecology, environment and tourism, intercultural communication, etc. The course holds great value and importance in today’s time as tourism has become the hub of economic development of every country. Tourism management includes all the activities related to the tourism and hospitality industries. It includes aspects of business administration and management, as well as travel industry topics. Tourists have several basic needs, including accessibility, accommodations, and attractions. Graduates of this course can get a lot of job options both in India and outside it. Some of them include – Accommodation Manager, Catering Manager, Chef, Event Manager, Fast Food Restaurant Manager, Hotel Manager, Public House Manager, Restaurant Manager.

** Industrial training of 4 to 6 weeks in a relevant industry after second semester examination during summer break. Training report to be submitted by the students within one week of the start of third semester. Viva-voce examination to be held within 3 weeks of start of third semester.
