B.VOC (Journalism & Mass Communication)
The Institute offers programmes in Journalism & Mass Communication to the under-graduates by providing a strong foundation and comprehensive training to aspirants from any discipline to pursue careers in Media Industry. The programmes give an opportunity to study the Media, ranging from media issues to forms of Communication. One can also learn Media Law and Ethics; Research and Journalistic Techniques; Media Marketing; Public Relations and Organizing Events and Exhibitions. Students are also encouraged to specialize in Print; Broadcast & Web Journalism; Radio Programming & Production; Television Production & Film making; and Advertising & Marketing Communication. Journalism is a profession that will help the country to bring about a change in the society. Honest journalism can bring positive changes in the society and country. Our country needs skilled, honest and ethically sound journalists. B.Voc. (Journalism and Mass Communication) course will benefit those who want to build a decent career in journalism and mass communication sector.

Summer Industrial Training of 4-6 weeks in a relevant Industry after 2nd Semester Examinations during summer break. Training report to be submitted by the student within one week of the start of 3rd Semester. Viva-Voce examination to be held within 3-weeks of the start of 3rd semester.
