DSCW believes that a superior performance of the education system begins with inspired and inspiring leadership; sound management; and consistent, transparent governance. Our institution’s circumspect systems and processes support effective & transparent work planning as well as resource allocation. The institution at every level needs leadership and management skills to galvanize the staff, augment the quality, and decorously implement interventions that are proven to work. DSCW’s leadership has been capacitated to hold the education system accountable for its performance. Building on 84 years of experience, the institution has become a harbinger in itself; strengthening leadership, management, and governance so that it can better provide high-quality, student-centered ministration. DSCW uses ‘Leading, Managing and Governing for Results’ model to simultaneously work on the exhaustive advancement of various prospects of the college. Thus, achieving and maintaining an international yardstick of performance in the field of women education. To patronize it, leadership development programs; leadership development support and education-based services that ultimately result in improved management, leadership and governance of the college are organized. Over a period of time our methodologies have become more effective; for example, our leaders are adept at making laborious decisions brilliantly in minutes, versus weeks. These decisions are based on best practice principles, versus decision slowly derived by emotions. This discretion in way of thought is what has proved crucial to our success story.
